I have had the flu the last days. But then I also had the time to finish this vintage dress (that was too big), watch movies, rest and dream about spring.

You remember my black wool circle skirt? Well, it turned out beautiful, but not without the help from Tygverket (and especially Amanda, who taught me how to make one).
If you live in Stockholm, you can take a look at their workshops here.
I really recommend their circle skirt workshop!

We started out by choosing fabrics. I choose the thick black wool since i wanted a warm winter skirt. But look at all the colors!

We got drinks and snacks too. Yiey.

I look very bored but this is my concentration look, I promise.

My favorite vintage summer skirt was with me, to act as a role model for the winter skirt.

Last but not least, the lovely Amanda, who helped me put the circle skirt together and also has become my newest friend.

Last weekend I was invited to Tygverket's workshops in sewing.
For you readers living in Stockholm this is the perfect opportunity to learn how to sew. For you living outside Sweden you can just take a look at my photos.
I am so happy with the result. I have wanted a simple black wool skirt with high waist for quite some time now.
Amanda was so amazing and helped me learn how to make one. It was very easy!

The workshop is called "Making a circle skirt".

This is my New Years-dress. I made it during Christmas and it is almost done by now.
The fabric is new. I wanted the dress to have a vintage 1920's feel to it. I hope you like it!

Yesterday I listened to some french jazz, looked at the snowflakes and started wrapping the first christmas presents.
The best part is sealing with wax, I love that.
My striped cotton string on wodden rollers looks good with the paper and comes from KlaraForm.

Anna has illustrated a calendar featuring 12 amazing girls. Wow, I feel lucky being one of them, I'm the month of december!
This calender is the perfect gift, it's really made from the heart and filled with pretty portraits of Clara, Sandra, Elsa and Emma to mention a few.

Today I took my friend with me and went to Bakåt Framåt, Stockholms vintage fair. We were not the only ones there.

The trees had pink tulle ribbons to match the invitation cards.

The place got crowded.

Karolina from Orkan Lia was there and sold her pretty clothes. She makes custom orders for her clients in a vintage style.

This girl had the cutest hair style.

Many lovely things to look at. I did not buy anything though.

This was the most beautiful corner of the vintage fair.
The owner did not have any web page, but she was thinking of having a vintage web store sometime soon.

Another pretty corner, with vintage dresses and tulle skirts.

Fanny from Kellerman Vintage had the cutest outfit.

I wanted this 30's black lace dress, but it was too expensive, 1 350 kronor = 187 USD dollars.

We got tired after a while and went for breakfast and walk instead.

A few days ago I received Little Thing, an independent fashion and art magazine published in five big Chinese cities (Hongkong, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen),
with 40.000 issues every two months. I am participating with my self portraits in the latest issue!
I can't read the interview, but I really love the magazine. I think it's the Chinese version of Lula. Let's take a look!

Yesterday I took some commercial photographs for Linda Sundblads new single cover, called "Trasig".
I was so happy when she asked me to work with her, she is very down to earth and sweet. I love her!

The make up and hair styling was made by the very talented Mia Högfeldt. I had such a great time working with her.

Mia used her make up tools in the her hair also, extra points for that.

We went to the lake, played with water lilies and had a picnic.

Last day at Herräng Dance Camp we had a big masquerade. I could not think of any better masquerade in the whole world!
The theme was "Wonders in wonderland" and the whole dance camp was filled with adventures.
I wanted to dance and only took my camera about one hour with me. Let's have a look of that magic hour!

The brand is called Dsquared and these are made of stars, literally.
The cost for this limited collection is 500 euro, I bought my pair 50% off earlier this year after seeing them in Lula Magazine.

Oh, time flies by when you are having fun. I have had lots of fun the last week, dancing Lindy Hop Beginners Intermediate at Herräng Dance Camp.
My days have been filled with 3-4 dans classes (one hour and twenty minutes each) and then dancing all night.
I got the famous herräng flu with fever on Tuesday, so my energy has been low the last couple of days.
And now i feel kind of sad and lonely being home, missing all my new friends, our dance classes, the days at the beach, bicycling in pretty dresses,
eating banana bread or hot toast at the Ice Cream Parlor and having crazy night dances.

I lived in the area called the Marina (there are also a place by the school, but this one is quieter). Here are the house with bunk beds...

and my bed, which i turned into a four-poster bed.

Yesterday i found out i had been moved off the waiting list for Herräng Dance Camp.
That means i'm going saturday morning by bus to Herräng, dancing Lindy Hop Beginners Intermediate for a whole week.
Yikes! I am scared and excited at the same time.
I have been in a rush yesterday and today, making the costume for fridays costume party themed "Wonders in wonderland".
You can see my dancing dress above (and the boater hat with blue ribbon).
